Electric Lead Melter

Model LP-1-IV is our most popular model. The make-up of the melter is a drawn steel pot with an extruded aluminum jacket which traps heat and reflects it back to the pot. This melter comes standard with a large stable base, 6-foot cord, and long-lasting tubular heating element (type used on kitchen ranges). It has four inches of clearance under the spout instead of the standard two inches. This is high enough to accept all brands of bullet molds and most sinker molds.

This large, deep pot holds approximately 10 lbs. of lead with a melting time less than 20 minutes. The pour spout is up front, where it belongs, so you can see what you're doing. It has infinite heat control and only uses 500 watts of power during heat-up and even less to maintain temperature. It is well suited for commercial casting because this pot has features not found on the more expensive melters. It fits all molds with the exception of the A-3100, A-3110 Decoy Anchor Mold.
